To adjust the thermostat on the BLACK+DECKER BHT907R Ceramic Tower Heater, follow these steps:
1. Press the + or - button on the unit while in any heater function or speed.
2. The current temperature setting will be displayed on the screen.
3. Press the + button to increase the temperature or the - button to decrease the temperature.
4. The desired temperature will be flashing on the display.
5. Once you have set the desired temperature, the heater will maintain that temperature.
6. To deactivate the thermostat function, turn off the unit or press the Heat Mode button.
Note: The heater will automatically run on low or high heat depending on the ambient temperature and the set temperature. When the ambient temperature and set temperature are greater than 2°F, it will operate on high heat. When the ambient temperature and set temperature are less than 4°F, it will operate on low heat. When the difference between the ambient temperature and the set temperature is greater than 4°F, the fan-only setting will operate.
