To clean the Waring TBB160P6 Blender, follow these steps:
1. Wash, rinse, sanitize, and dry the container and lid after each use. Use non-sudsing detergents and chlorine-based sanitizing solutions with a minimum chlorine concentration of 100 PPM.
2. For washing, you can use International Products Corporation LF2100 Liquid Low-Foam Cleaner at a dilution of 1% to 2% (1¼ to 2¾ ounces per gallon of water) at room temperature. Scrub and flush out the container interior and lid to remove food residue.
3. Rinse the container and lid with plain water at a warm temperature of 95°F (35°C).
4. For sanitizing, you can use Clorox Regular Bleach with an 8.25% hypochlorite concentration at a dilution of 2 teaspoons per gallon of water. Alternatively, you can use a bleach with a 5.25% hypochlorite concentration at a dilution of 3 teaspoons per gallon of water.
5. Wipe down the exterior of the container and lid with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with sanitizing solution.
6. Fill the container with sanitizing solution, cover it, place it on the motor base, and run the blender on HI speed for one minute. Empty the container.
7. Sanitize the lid and lid insert by immersing them in a sanitizing solution for two minutes.
8. Allow the container, lid, and lid insert to air-dry. Do not rinse them after sanitizing.
9. To clean the motor base, wipe down the exterior surfaces with soft cloths or sponges dampened with washing solution, rinse water, and sanitizing solution. Do not immerse the motor base in any cleaning solution.
It is important to follow these cleaning and sanitizing instructions to ensure the longevity and effectiveness of the blender.
