To set up your Taylor 7558 Digital Scale for initial use, please follow these steps:
1. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface. Avoid using it on uneven tile, flooring, or carpeting.
2. Step on the scale with one foot, applying enough pressure to turn it on, and then remove your foot.
3. The digital readout should display dashes or zeros, indicating that the scale has powered on.
4. The scale will automatically turn off.
