To mount the Cobra RAD350 Laser Radar Detector in your vehicle, you have two options: windshield mounting and dashboard mounting. Here are the steps for each option:
1. Windshield Mounting:
a. Attach the rubber cups to the bracket.
b. Ensure that the rubber cups and your windshield are clean.
c. Push the bracket firmly onto the windshield.
d. Attach the detector to the bracket, making sure it is parallel to the road's surface.
e. If necessary, adjust the angle by gently pushing or pulling on the bracket (do not use the detector to bend the bracket).
f. Plug the power cord into the detector.
g. Plug the cigarette lighter adapter on the power cord into your vehicle's cigarette lighter.
2. Dashboard Mounting:
a. Place the detector on the dashboard in a location where it has a clear, level view of the road and is parallel to the road's surface.
b. Remove the paper backing from one side of the hook-and-loop fastener.
c. Attach the pad to the dashboard at your chosen location and remove the other paper backing.
d. Attach the detector to the hook-and-loop fastener. You can remove and reattach the unit as often as you like.
e. Plug the power cord into the detector.
f. Plug the cigarette lighter adapter on the power cord into your vehicle's cigarette lighter.
Remember to position the detector in a way that allows the lens to have a clear view and does not obstruct the unit's view of the road. Additionally, ensure that the LaserEye has a clear view out the back window for maximum detection.
