To clean the Holstein Housewares HM-09111 Waffle Maker, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
2. Clean the interior and exterior surfaces of the appliance with a damp cloth or sponge. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
3. If there is dough baked onto the cooking surface, pour a small amount of cooking oil onto the hardened batter. After 5 minutes, carefully wipe with a paper towel or dry cloth.
4. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the surfaces.
5. Do not immerse the appliance, power cord, or plug into water or any liquids.
