To cook poached eggs with the Hamilton Beach 25504 Electric Egg Cooker, follow these steps:
1. Fill the Water Measuring Cup with cold water to the designated line.
2. Pour the water into the Water Reservoir of the egg cooker.
3. Lightly spray the Poaching Tray with nonstick cooking spray.
4. Place the Egg Holder and then the Poaching Tray on top of the Base.
5. Crack one large egg into each side of the Poaching Tray. The tray can cook two eggs at once.
6. Cover the egg cooker with the Lid.
7. Press the ON/OFF ( ) Button. The red light will come on, indicating that the eggs are cooking.
8. The eggs will cook for about 8 to 13 minutes, depending on your desired doneness.
9. The unit will sound when the water has evaporated. Press the ON/OFF ( ) Button to turn off the cooker.
10. Carefully remove the poached eggs from the cooker using oven mitts to protect your hands.
11. Serve the poached eggs immediately.
