Cleaning the Hamilton Beach 25410 Panini Press is easy. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down.
2. Use a spatula to remove any stuck-on food from the cooking plates.
3. Wipe the cooking plates with a paper towel to remove any drippings.
4. Slide out the drip tray and wash it in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water.
5. Use a damp sponge with a small amount of dishwashing detergent to scrub the cooking surfaces.
6. Rinse out the sponge and wipe the surfaces clean.
7. Use a clean, damp cloth to wipe the surfaces again.
8. Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, or abrasive cleansers on any part of the unit.
9. Never use sharp or pointed objects for cleaning.
10. Wipe the outside of the unit with a damp, soapy cloth.
11. For easy storage, add the spatula to the drip tray and slide the tray into place. On the right side, slide the locking tab to lock the panini press. Store it upright.
