To clean the Hamilton Beach 26010 Belgian Waffle Maker, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool down completely.
2. Wipe the cooking grids and the outside of the unit with a damp, soapy cloth. Rinse the cloth and wipe the grids again.
3. Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, or abrasive cleansers on any part of the unit.
4. The cooking grids are dishwasher-safe and can be placed on the top rack of the dishwasher for cleaning. However, do not use the "SANI" setting, as it could damage the product. Alternatively, you can wash the grids with hot, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Do not soak the grids.
5. For storing, allow the appliance to cool down completely and lock the lid by rotating the handle.
