To clean the Elite Gourmet EGC1405 Electric Egg Cooker, follow these steps:
1. Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Wipe the Heating Plate and Main Body with a wet cloth. Do not immerse them in water.
3. Wash the Accessories (Egg Cooking Rack, Omelet and Poaching Trays, and Measuring Cup) and Lid in the sink with warm, soapy water.
4. Do not submerge the body of the Egg Cooker in any liquid. Instead, use a soft, wet cloth to wipe it down.
5. If there are mineral deposits on the Heating Plate, you can remove them by wiping the Plate with a paper towel moistened with one tablespoon of white vinegar.
6. You can also use a "magic-eraser" type scrubber and rub the Heating Plate in a circular motion with warm water.
7. Make sure to dry all parts thoroughly before storing them.
Please note that the Egg Cooker is not dishwasher safe, so all cleaning should be done by hand.
