Cleaning the Margaritaville DM3000 Frozen Concoction Maker is important to ensure optimal performance and hygiene. Here are the instructions for cleaning the different parts of the machine:
1. Blending Jars, Blending Blade, Blending Blade Sealing Ring, and Jar Bases: These parts can be safely washed in the top rack of your dishwasher. Use only the top rack to avoid any damage.
2. Ice Reservoir Lid, Ice Melt Reservoir, Ice Reservoir, Shaving Paddle, Ice Hopper, Ice Deflector Blade Assembly, Shaving Blade: These parts are only exposed to ice and water, so they can be rinsed with soap and warm water. After rinsing, allow them to air dry.
3. Ice Chute: Clean the Ice Chute with a hot damp cloth to remove any residue or buildup.
4. Exterior of the Unit: Use a damp cloth to clean the outside of the unit. Make sure to unplug the unit before cleaning.
It is important to regularly inspect the Blending Jars, Shaving Blade, and other parts for any damage, nicks, chips, or cracks. If any parts are damaged, do not use them and contact customer service for replacement parts.
