Cleaning the Nostalgia SCC399 Snow Cone Shaved Ice Machine is a simple process. Here are the steps to clean the machine:
1. Make sure the appliance is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.
2. Open the housing door to access the inside of the unit.
3. Use a slightly damp, non-abrasive cloth or sponge to clean and dry the inside of the unit.
4. Wipe the outside of the unit using a slightly damp, non-abrasive cloth or sponge.
5. Dry the unit with a non-abrasive towel.
6. The shaving unit and clear lid are dishwasher safe. You can remove the shaving unit by following the steps provided on page 11 of the instruction manual.
