Calibrating the Greater Goods 0450A Food Scale is a simple process that ensures accurate measurements. Here are the steps to calibrate the scale:
1. Place the scale on a stable and flat surface.
2. Ensure that the scale is clean and free from any debris.
3. Press the power button to turn on the scale.
4. Wait for the scale to display "0.0" or "0.00" on the screen.
5. Press and hold the power button until the display shows "CAL" or "CALIBRATION."
6. Release the power button and wait for the scale to enter calibration mode.
7. The scale will display a calibration weight value. Place a known weight object on the scale that matches the displayed value. For example, if the scale shows "500g," place a 500g weight on the scale.
8. Wait for the scale to stabilize and display the calibrated weight.
