The Smart Weigh SW-KSGRAY Digital Kitchen Food Scale does not require manual calibration. It is pre-calibrated at the factory to provide accurate measurements. However, if you suspect that the scale is not measuring accurately, you can perform a simple calibration using the tare function and an empty container. Here's how:
1. Place an empty container on the scale's weighing platform.
2. Press the tare button to subtract the weight of the container from the measurement.
3. The display should now read zero. If it does not, press and hold the tare button for a few seconds until the display resets to zero.
4. Remove the container from the scale.
5. The scale should now be calibrated and ready for use.
It's important to note that calibration is typically not necessary unless you encounter significant measurement discrepancies. If you continue to experience issues with accuracy, please contact Smart Weigh customer service for further assistance.
