To change the batteries in the Polder THM-362-86 Digital Meat Thermometer, follow these steps:
1. Press the tab up on the battery cover and snap open the battery compartment.
2. Remove the old batteries, if present.
3. Clean all battery contacts prior to installation.
4. Insert one AAA battery into the battery compartment, aligning the positive and negative sides of the battery with the (+) positive and (-) negative symbols in the battery compartment.
5. Snap the battery compartment cover back into place.
Please note that it is recommended to remove the battery from the thermometer if it is consumed or if the product is to be left unused for a duration of time. Also, do not mix old and new batteries, and ensure all batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -).
