To clean the Imusa GAU-80350 Electric Stainless Steel Panini Press, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the cord and wait for the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Wipe the cooking plates with a soft cloth after each use. If cooked food is not removed, reheat the unit for 1-2 minutes, then brush with a sponge and a little oil or melted butter. Allow it to stand for 5 minutes, then wipe with a damp cloth or paper towel.
3. Do not use any abrasive cleaners or metal pads as they can damage the non-stick coating.
4. Clean the surfaces by wiping with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
5. The appliance is NOT dishwasher safe.
Note: The appliance is easier to clean when slightly warm.
