To set the alarm on the CDN TM30 Direct Entry 2-Alarm Timer, follow these steps:
1. Slide the switch on the back of the timer to either "BEEP" or "VIBRATE" to select the alarm mode.
2. To set the countdown time, use the 1-0 keypad on the timer. For example, if you want to set the timer for 3 minutes exactly, enter "3 0 0" (three minutes, zero seconds). If you want to set the timer for 9 hours, 45 minutes, and 30 seconds, enter "9 4 5 3 0".
3. Press the START/STOP button to start the countdown. You can interrupt the countdown by pressing the START/STOP button again. To resume the countdown, press the START/STOP button once more.
4. If you want to clear the countdown before reaching zero, stop the countdown by pressing the START/STOP button. Then, press the CLEAR button.
Note: The countdown must be stopped first to prevent accidental clearing of the display.
5. When the timer reaches zero, the alarm will sound for one minute, and the display will flash. The timer will then start counting up to indicate the overtime since reaching zero. The maximum overtime is 10 hours.
6. To stop the alarm and the count-up, press the START/STOP button. The last count will be recalled.
7. To reset the timer to 0:0000, press the CLEAR button.
