To clean the OVENTE KS88 Cordless Electric Kettle, follow these steps:
1. Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth or sponge.
2. Remove water spots with a moistened cloth.
3. Do not use abrasive scouring pads.
4. Never immerse the kettle in water or other liquids.
5. From time to time, limescale may form on the heating element, reducing heating efficiency. To descale the kettle, follow these instructions:
a. Mix 8 parts water to 2 parts white vinegar solution.
b. Pour the solution into the kettle and close the lid.
c. Bring the solution to a boil and leave it for 5-8 hours.
d. Dispose of the solution down the drain.
e. If limescale persists, repeat the process until it dissipates.
Note: Be cautious as the solution may be extremely hot during this process.
