Calibrating the NUTRI FIT EB9650 Digital Body Weight Scale is not necessary as it is pre-calibrated at the factory. However, if you notice any discrepancies in the readings or if you want to confirm its accuracy, you can follow these steps to calibrate the scale:
1. Place the scale on a flat and stable surface.
2. Ensure the scale is not in contact with any objects or walls.
3. Power up the scale by pressing the designated button.
4. Wait for the scale to display "0.0" or "CAL" on the LCD screen.
5. Step onto the scale gently and stand still until the scale stabilizes and displays your weight.
6. Step off the scale and wait for it to reset to zero.
7. Repeat the process two more times to ensure consistent readings.
8. If the scale consistently shows inaccurate readings, you may need to recalibrate it. Please refer to the user manual for specific recalibration instructions or contact NUTRI FIT customer support for further assistance.
It's important to note that calibrating the scale should only be done if you suspect it is not providing accurate readings. In most cases, the scale should already be properly calibrated and ready to use out of the box.
