To assemble and use the MUELLER FC-1500 Electric Food Chopper, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the food chopper is unplugged from the electrical outlet.
2. Place the Base on a flat, level, stable surface.
3. Place the Bowl onto the Base by aligning the tabs on the Base of the Bowl with the slots on the Base and turning the Bowl clockwise until it locks into place.
4. Carefully place the blade attachment over the center shaft of the bowl. Avoid contact with the sharp blades.
5. Place ingredients into the Bowl. Do not fill the Bowl above the marked '1.5-Cup' level to allow room for processing.
6. Place the Lid on the Bowl and turn clockwise to lock in place. When properly locked, the circle marked on the Lid will align with the circle marked next to the Pulse Button.
7. Press the Pulse Button to start processing. To stop, release the Pulse Button.
8. Use the Food Chopper with a pulsing action. The longer the continuous pulse, the finer the texture. For coarsely chopped foods, use short pulses.
9. Do not run the appliance continuously for more than 30 seconds. After chopping continuously for 30 seconds, allow the appliance to rest for at least one minute before resuming.
10. Wait until the Blade has completely stopped running before removing the Lid.
11. Unplug the Food Chopper from the electrical outlet when it is not in use or is left unattended.
