To clean the Hamilton Beach 52400 Stay or Go Blender, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the power and make sure the blender is turned off and unplugged.
2. Wipe the blender base, control panel, and cord with a damp cloth or sponge. Use a mild, non-abrasive cleanser for stubborn spots. Do not immerse the base in water.
3. The blending jar, travel jar, and grinding cup can be washed with hot, soapy water. Take care when handling the cutting blade assembly as it is sharp. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not soak.
4. Do not use the "SANI" setting when washing the blender in the dishwasher, as it may damage the product. Parts can also be washed with hot, soapy water.
5. For easy cleaning, you can use the "Easy Clean" method. Pour 2 cups of warm water into the 32-oz. blending jar and add 1 drop of liquid dishwashing detergent. Press the "ON" button and blend for 10 seconds. Discard the soapy water and rinse with clean water. Repeat the same process with 3/4 cup of warm water for the travel jar and grinding cup.
6. Regularly disassemble the blender and clean all parts thoroughly to maintain hygiene and prevent buildup.
