To set the cooking temperature and cooking time on the Yedi HOUSEWARE GV024 Professional Sous Vide cooker, follow these steps:
1. Plug the unit into the outlet. The power icon will light up, indicating that the device is in standby mode.
2. Press the power icon to enter the temperature and timer setting mode. You will hear a beep, and the temperature digital LED and the timer digital LED will flash together.
3. Press the + or - button to adjust the temperature. Each press will increase or decrease the temperature by 0.5°F. You can hold down the + or - button to set the temperature faster.
4. Press the power icon again, and only the timer/minute digital LED will be flashing. Press the + or - button to adjust the cooking time. Each press will increase or decrease the time by 1 minute. You can hold down the + or - button to set the time faster.
5. Press the power icon again, and only the timer/hour digital LED will be flashing. Press the + or - button to adjust the cooking time by 1 hour increments.
6. Once you have set your desired cooking time and temperature, press the power icon to start the cooking process. The unit will beep three times when the set temperature is reached and will enter the state of keeping a stable temperature. The cooking time will be counted down by minutes.
7. If you want to change the time or temperature settings during cooking, press and hold the power icon button for 3 seconds, and then repeat the setting actions in "Step 3" as mentioned above.
8. The unit will automatically stop when it reaches the set time and enter standby mode. To turn off the unit, press the power icon button for 3 seconds or unplug it.
Please note that the Yedi HOUSEWARE GV024 Professional Sous Vide cooker is calibrated to a high premier standard, which may result in temperature readings that differ from personal temperature gauges.
