Cleaning the Hamilton Beach 58181 Wave Crusher Blender is simple and easy. Here are the steps to clean the blender:
1. Unplug the blender from the electrical outlet.
2. Wipe the base, control panel, and cord with a damp cloth or sponge. Use a mild, non-abrasive cleanser for stubborn spots.
3. The blender jar, lid, cutting blade assembly, and collar are dishwasher-safe. Place them in the dishwasher for cleaning. Note: Place the lid in the top rack only and do not use the "SANI" setting, as it could damage the product.
4. Alternatively, you can wash the parts with hot, soapy water. Take care when handling the cutting blade assembly as it is sharp. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
5. Store the blender with the lid slightly ajar to prevent any odor buildup.
It is important to avoid putting the cord, plug, base, or motor in water or other liquid to protect against the risk of electrical shock.
