Cleaning the Secura MMF-015 Electric Milk Frother is simple and easy. Here are the steps to clean the different parts of the frother:
1. Container: After each use, rinse the interior of the container with warm, soapy water. Use a soft cloth to wash and then dry with a clean cloth.
2. Lid: Remove the silicon ring from the lid and wash both pieces with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and assemble the lid for easier storage.
3. Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the frother with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use any sharp edges, scrubbing brushes, or abrasive materials on the frother.
4. Whisks: Remove the whisks from the frother and wash them in warm, soapy water. Dry them thoroughly before storage. Do not place the whisks or any part of the frother in the dishwasher.
5. Milk residue: If there is milk residue inside the container or around the axle, use the soft brush that comes with the product. Pour a small amount of water into the frother, just enough to immerse the axle sleeve. Insert the brush into the bottom of the axle sleeve and turn it 360° to remove the milk residue.
Note: Avoid using abrasive cleaners on the exterior or interior of the frother, as it could scratch the stainless steel exterior and damage the non-stick surfaces on the interior.
