Cleaning the Oster BLSTTM-GM0-000 Texture Select Blender is easy. Here are the steps:
1. Press the OFF button and unplug the blender.
2. Lift the jar straight up from the base and remove the lid.
3. Empty the jar and, if necessary, use a rubber spatula to scrape any remaining food away from the sides.
4. Carefully release the blade from the bottom of the jar by turning the threaded jar bottom counterclockwise.
5. The jar lid, filler cap, and blade are dishwasher safe. You can place them on the top rack of the dishwasher for easy cleaning. Alternatively, you can wash them in warm, soapy water.
6. Rinse all the parts well and dry them before reassembling.
7. Wipe the base of the blender with a soft, damp cloth to clean it. Do not submerge the blender base in liquid.
Note: You can also run the blender with soapy water for 20-30 seconds at low or medium speed for cleaning without disassembly. Follow this with a clean water rinse.
