To set up the TP-Link RE220 Range Extender using the Tether app, follow these steps:
1. Download and install the latest version of the Tether app on your smartphone.
2. Plug the extender into a power outlet near your router and wait for the Power LED to turn solid on.
3. Connect your smartphone to the extender's network named "TP-Link_Extender".
4. Launch the Tether app and select your extender from the list.
5. Create a password to log in to the extender.
6. Follow the instructions provided by the app to complete the setup process.
Once the setup is complete, the LED on the extender should turn solid on, indicating a successful connection to your router. If the LED does not turn solid on, please refer to the FAQ section in the manual for troubleshooting steps.
