To connect the onn HOBLK100122461 5 Button Wireless Mouse to your computer, you have two options: via USB nano receiver or via Bluetooth.
1. Connect via USB nano receiver:
- Make sure the mouse is powered on and the connection channel is set to the USB nano receiver ( ).
- Plug the USB nano receiver into an available USB A port on your computer.
- The mouse should start working immediately without any additional setup.
2. Connect via Bluetooth:
- Turn on the mouse and set the connection channel to either Bluetooth ( 1 ) or Bluetooth ( 2 ).
- On your computer, click on "Start" (bottom left corner on your screen) and go to Settings.
- Navigate to "Device" -> "Bluetooth & other devices" and turn on Bluetooth.
- Click on "Add Bluetooth or another device" -> "Add a device (Bluetooth)".
- Press and hold the "Connect" button on the mouse until the LED starts flashing.
- In the list of available devices on your computer, select "onn. SMMOUSE" or "BT5.1 Mouse" to pair with the mouse.
- The LED on the mouse will stop flashing and light up for 3 seconds when the pairing is complete.
If you encounter any issues during the setup process, here are some troubleshooting steps:
- For USB connection: Ensure the mouse is powered on, the USB nano receiver is securely plugged into a USB port, and try changing USB ports or removing metallic objects between the mouse and the receiver.
- For Bluetooth connection: Make sure the mouse is powered on, the Bluetooth function is turned on on your computer, and try a different surface or remove metallic objects between the mouse and the computer. If the connection fails, repeat the pairing steps.
