To set the time and date manually on the SHARP SPC1019A Atomic Clock, follow these steps:
1. Insert batteries into the battery compartment to power on the clock.
2. Press the SETTING button to enter the setting mode.
3. Use the -/+ buttons to select your desired Time Zone. The default is Eastern Standard Time (EST).
4. Press the SETTING button to confirm the Time Zone selection.
5. The DST (Daylight Savings Time) option will flash. Use the -/+ buttons to turn DST ON or OFF according to your preference.
6. Press the SETTING button to confirm the DST setting.
7. The clock will now display the current time in the selected Time Zone.
8. To set the date, press and hold the ALARM button to enter the date setting mode. The date will flash.
9. Use the -/+ buttons to adjust the date.
10. Press the ALARM button to confirm the date setting.
11. The clock is now set to the desired time and date manually.
Note: If the clock is in Atomic Reception mode, it will automatically adjust the time and date based on the WWVB Atomic signal received. However, you can still set the time manually even with Atomic Reception turned on.
