To assemble the Graco PD283831B Simple Sway baby swing, please follow the steps outlined in the user manual provided. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Start by unpacking all the components and ensuring that you have all the necessary parts.
2. Attach the seat to the swing frame by aligning the seat's hooks with the frame's tabs. Push down firmly until you hear a click to ensure it is securely attached.
3. Attach the head support to the seat by sliding it into the designated slots on the back of the seat.
4. Connect the control module to the swing frame by aligning the tabs on the module with the slots on the frame. Push down until it clicks into place.
5. Insert the AC adapter into the power jack on the control module and plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet.
6. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment on the control module if you prefer to use battery power instead of the AC adapter.
7. Adjust the swing speed by turning the speed dial on the control module. The swing offers six different speed settings.
8. To activate the swing motion, press the power button on the control module. The swing will start moving.
9. Adjust the recline position of the seat by using the recline lever located on the side of the seat. There are two recline positions available.
10. To use the built-in sounds and music, press the sound button on the control module. You can choose between nature sounds or melodies.
11. The swing also features a timer function. Press the timer button to set the swing to automatically turn off after a certain period of time. You can choose between 30, 45, or 60 minutes.
12. Always ensure that your baby is securely strapped into the swing using the provided safety harness.
