To set the time on the SHARP SPC736 Digital Alarm Clock, follow these steps:
1. Plug in the power cord into a standard household outlet. The display will flash indicating that the time is ready to be set.
2. Press and hold the TIME button. The hour digit will start flashing.
3. Use the + / - button to set the correct hour. The PM indicator will light up if the hour is set to PM.
4. Press the TIME button again. The minute digit will start flashing.
5. Use the + / - button to set the correct minute.
6. Press the TIME button to confirm and save the time.
Note: The clock also has a battery backup feature. If you want to maintain the clock time and alarm settings during a power failure, insert 2 x AAA batteries into the battery compartment following the polarity as shown in the diagram. The display will not be lit while the clock is operating under battery use, but the time will display once the power is restored.
