To clean the hand mixer, first, unplug it from the outlet and set the speed control to OFF. Remove the beaters from the mixer before cleaning. The beaters can be washed in hot, soapy water or in a dishwasher. Do not put the motor housing in water or any other liquid. Instead, wipe it with a damp cloth or sponge. Avoid using abrasive cleansers that could scratch the surface.
