To clean the Oster Versa BLSTVB-RV0-000 Professional Power Blender, follow these steps:
1. Base: First, turn the control to "Off" and unplug the power cord. Use a damp soft cloth or sponge with mild soap and warm water to clean the outside surface of the base. Do not immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
2. Jar: Fill the jar halfway with warm water and add two drops of liquid soap. Close the jar with the lid and filler cap. Turn the speed dial to a "Low" speed and then increase to "High". Run the blender for 30-60 seconds. Turn the machine off, rinse the jar with running water, and then dry it.
3. Lid and Filler Cap: Separate the lid and filler cap and wash them in warm soapy water. Rinse them clean under running water and then dry.
Note: Do not put the lid, filler cap, or jar in the dishwasher. They should be hand-washed.
After cleaning, store the blender with the lid not completely closed to allow air circulation and prevent container odors.
