To clean the blender, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the power by unplugging the blender from the outlet.
2. Wipe the blender base, control panel, and cord with a damp cloth or sponge. Use a mild, non-abrasive cleanser for stubborn spots.
3. The blender jar, lid, and removable blade assembly are dishwasher-safe. However, do not use the "SANI" setting on the dishwasher, as it could damage the blender. Alternatively, you can wash these parts with hot, soapy water. Take care when handling the sharp blade assembly. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
4. For an easy clean, pour 2 cups (500 ml) of warm water into the blender jar and add 1 drop of liquid dishwashing detergent. Run the blender on the EASY CLEAN setting for 10 seconds. Discard the soapy water and rinse with clean water.
5. The Easy Clean function is not a substitute for regular cleaning. It should only be used to rinse the blender between batches of processing the same food. After processing different types of food, disassemble the blender and thoroughly clean all parts as instructed above.
Note: The Easy Clean function should never be used when blending mixtures containing eggs, milk, or any other dairy products, meats, or seafood.
Please refer to the instruction manual for more detailed cleaning instructions and safety precautions.
