Cleaning the Orpat HHB-100E Hand Blender is easy. Here are the steps to clean it properly:
1. Before cleaning, always unplug the cord from the outlet.
2. Rinse the blade guard and blade under running water to remove any food particles.
3. Use a damp cloth to wipe the body of the hand blender. Do not wash the upper part of the blender.
4. If you have used the hand blender with oily foods, fill up the jar with lukewarm water and add detergent. Run the appliance for about 10 seconds. Repeat the operation with plain water and then wipe with a cotton cloth gently.
5. Take care that water does not enter the motor parts. Wipe off any excess water with a dry cloth.
6. Put one drop of edible oil at the shaft once a month or if the blender is not used for a long time.
