To set up the answering machine on the , please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the corded base unit is connected to a power outlet and the telephone line.
2. Press the "Menu" button on one of the cordless handsets.
3. Use the navigation buttons to scroll to "Answering Device" and press the "Select" button.
4. Select "Greeting" and press the "Select" button.
5. Choose the greeting number you want to set (e.g., Greeting 1, Greeting 2, etc.) and press the "Select" button.
6. Follow the voice prompts to record your greeting. Press the "Stop" button when you're done recording.
7. To activate the answering machine, go back to the "Answering Device" menu and select "Answer On" and press the "Select" button.
8. You can also adjust the number of rings before the answering machine picks up by selecting "Ring Count" in the "Answering Device" menu and choosing the desired number of rings.
