Cleaning the Excalibur 2400 Electric Food Dehydrator Machine is easy and straightforward. Here are the steps to clean your dehydrator:
1. Unplug the dehydrator from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Remove the trays from the dehydrator and set them aside.
3. Wipe the interior and exterior of the dehydrator with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with warm water and a mild detergent. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials for cleaning.
4. Rinse the dehydrator using a soft cloth or sponge dampened with clear water to remove any soap residue.
5. Clean the trays by hand or place them in the top rack of the dishwasher for cleaning. The removable Poly screens can be cleaned by soaking them in warm soapy water and then wiping them down with a damp sponge.
6. Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling the dehydrator.
Note: Do not wipe any electrical components and do not immerse any portion of the dehydrator in water except for the trays and poly screens.
