To set up and use caller ID on the Ornin T112 Trimline Corded Telephone, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have an active caller ID service subscription with your telephone service provider.
2. Check if the Ornin T112 is compatible with the type of caller ID signal used by your service provider. The Ornin T112 supports both FSK and DTMF caller ID formats.
3. Make sure the telephone is properly connected to a working telephone line and power source.
4. Press the MENU button on the telephone keypad.
5. Use the navigation buttons (up, down, left, right) to scroll through the menu options and locate the "Caller ID" or "CID" option.
6. Press the OK or SELECT button to enter the Caller ID settings menu.
7. In the Caller ID settings menu, you may find options to enable or disable the caller ID feature, select the caller ID format (FSK or DTMF), and adjust other related settings.
8. Use the navigation buttons to select the desired options and press the OK or SELECT button to confirm your selections.
9. Once the caller ID feature is enabled and configured, incoming calls will be automatically detected, and the caller's information will be displayed on the LCD screen of the Ornin T112.
Note: If you encounter any issues with the caller ID feature, such as not displaying the caller's information, ensure that your caller ID service is activated and contact your telephone service provider for assistance.
