To set up the caller ID feature on the AT&T CL2909 Caller ID Speakerphone, follow these steps:
1. Insert four AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the bottom of the phone. This is necessary for the caller ID feature to function.
2. Connect the telephone line cord to the telephone jack on the wall and the LINE jack on the back of the phone.
3. Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to the telephone wall jack.
4. Wait for the phone to power on and initialize. The LCD screen will display the date and time.
5. When a call comes in, the caller's information (name and number) will be displayed on the LCD screen. If the caller's information is not displayed, ensure that the batteries are properly inserted and that the caller ID service is active with your telephone service provider.
