To set up the Motorola CD5011 Digital Cordless Telephone, follow these steps:
1. Charge the handset: Before using the handset, make sure to charge it for 16 hours using the supplied AC power adaptor.
2. Connect the base: Connect the base to a power outlet using the AC power adaptor provided. Connect the telephone line cord to the base and the telephone wall socket.
