To clean the Oster FPSTFN7700 3 QUART ELECTRIC FONDUE POT, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the fondue pot and allow it to cool before cleaning. Do not run cold water over the cooking surface immediately after use to protect the Titanium Infused DuraCeramic coating.
2. Remove the temperature control probe. Do not immerse the temperature control probe or the fondue pot in liquids.
3. Wipe down the cooking surface with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Do not use steel wool or other metal pads as they may scratch the surface.
4. The fondue pot is not dishwasher safe. You can wash it with hot soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Make sure the temperature control probe is completely dry before use.
5. If stubborn stains appear on the Titanium Infused DuraCeramic coating, you can sprinkle some baking soda on the stained area. Add enough water to moisten the baking soda, creating a paste-like texture. Let it sit for a few minutes (up to an hour for tougher stains), then lightly scrub with a plastic scouring pad or damp cloth. Repeat if necessary.
6. For storage, unplug the cord and remove the temperature controller. Allow the appliance to cool before storing. Wind the electrical cord into a coil and secure it with a twist fastener. The temperature controller and cord can be stored inside the fondue pot for convenience.
Note: The coating of the Titanium Infused DuraCeramic fondue pot is designed to be durable and long-lasting. Any stubborn stains that may appear will not affect the performance or non-stick quality of the coating.
