Cleaning the Nostalgia PCM425AQ Retro Cotton Candy Machine is important to maintain its performance and longevity. Here are the steps to clean the machine:
1. Ensure that the machine is unplugged and has cooled down before cleaning.
2. After cooling, remove the Extractor Head by firmly gripping both sides and pulling it straight up. Unlock the bowl by turning it clockwise and lifting it.
3. Wash both the Extractor Head and the bowl in warm water using a non-abrasive sponge or cloth. Rinse them thoroughly and dry them before reassembling.
4. Use a clean, slightly damp, non-abrasive sponge or cloth to wipe down the outside of the machine and the area around the heating element. Dry with a non-abrasive towel.
Important: Never use an abrasive sponge, scouring pad, or steel wool on the machine. Do not clean any part of the machine in a dishwasher or immerse it in water.
