To clean the Proctor Silex 34105 Single Burner Cooktop, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the burner and unplug it from the outlet. Allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Wipe the base, heating element, and drip pan with a hot, soapy cloth. You can lift and tilt the heating element to clean the drip pan.
3. If there are food residues on the heating element, you can burn them off by setting the temperature control dial to the HI heat setting for approximately 5 minutes.
4. After cleaning, store the unit in a clean, dry place.
Please note that you should never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid to avoid electrical shock hazards.
