To clean the Hamilton Beach 70450 8-Cup Food Processor, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the power and make sure the appliance is unplugged before cleaning.
2. Wash the bowl, lid, chopping/mixing blade, slicing/shredding disc, and food pusher in hot, soapy water.
3. Rinse all the parts thoroughly and dry them before storing or using again.
4. These parts are also dishwasher safe, so you can place them in the dishwasher for easy cleaning.
5. Wipe the base, controls, and cord with a damp cloth or sponge. Use a mild nonabrasive cleanser for stubborn soil.
6. Do not immerse the cord, plug, or base in any liquid.
7. Do not store the food processor with the lid in the locked position, as this may strain the interlock tab.
Note: The blades are sharp and should be handled carefully. When cleaning the blades, use caution. It is recommended to wash them by hand to avoid any potential accidents.
