To adjust the thickness of the slices on the MIDONE SL4383 Electric Food Slicer Machine, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the appliance is plugged in and ready for use.
2. Place a plate or dish behind the blade to collect the slices.
3. Free the carriage from the blade and lay the food to be sliced on its stainless steel plate.
4. Push the food against the positioning plate of the appliance with the pusher.
5. To adjust the slicing thickness, turn the slice thickness adjustment xxxx located on the housing of the machine. Rotate it clockwise for thicker slices and counterclockwise for thinner slices.
6. Once you have set the desired thickness, start the blade rotating by pushing and holding the safety switch to the right and pushing the ON/OFF button simultaneously.
7. Push the carriage to bring the food to the blade. Use the handle of the carriage and keep pressure on the positioning plate of the appliance with the assistance of the pusher.
8. If it becomes difficult to slice the food or the blade is braking excessively, move back a little bit and start the operation again by approaching the blade more slowly.
9. To stop the blade from rotating, push the ON/OFF button to set the switch to the OFF position.
Note: The slice thickness adjustment xxxx allows you to select the desired thickness ranging from thin slices to approximately 3/5-inch thickness. Adjust it according to your preference and the type of food you are slicing.
