To connect the Weymic WM58 Dynamic Vocal Microphone to your audio equipment, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have the necessary cables for connection. The microphone utilizes an XLR connector, so you will need a 3-pin XLR male to XLR female cable or a 6.5mm to XLR female cable, depending on the inputs of your mixer and audio interface.
2. Locate the XLR input on your mixer or audio interface. It is usually labeled as "MIC" or "XLR."
3. Take the male end of the XLR cable and insert it into the XLR input on your mixer or audio interface. Make sure it is securely plugged in.
4. Take the female end of the XLR cable and connect it to the XLR output on the Weymic WM58 Dynamic Vocal Microphone. The XLR output is located at the bottom of the microphone.
5. Once both ends of the cable are securely connected, you should have a complete audio connection between the microphone and your audio equipment.
6. Adjust the input gain on your mixer or audio interface to an appropriate level. Start with a lower gain setting and gradually increase it until you achieve the desired volume without distortion.
7. Test the microphone by speaking or singing into it and monitoring the audio output from your mixer or audio interface. Make any necessary adjustments to the microphone position or gain settings to optimize the sound quality.
Note: It's important to remember that the Weymic WM58 Dynamic Vocal Microphone does not require phantom power, as it is a dynamic microphone. Therefore, you do not need to activate phantom power on your audio equipment when using this microphone.
