To assemble the Kitchen Selectives MC-6BL Electric Food Chopper, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the unit is unplugged before assembling.
2. Place the unit on a flat surface with the rubber feet preventing it from slipping.
3. Place the container onto the base, aligning the plastic tabs on the bottom inner rim of the container with the locking slots on the base.
4. Grasp the top of the container, apply slight pressure, and turn the container until the tabs lock into place.
5. Slide the blade hub over the container shaft. Be careful when installing the blade hub, as the blade is very sharp.
6. Place the lid on the container, press down gently, slide the extended tab on the lid onto the groove in the base slot, and turn the lid until the raised dot marker on the lid aligns with the dot marker on the base. The lid will snap and lock into place.
Note: For safety, this unit has an interlock system that will prevent unit operation if the lid is removed. This unit will not operate unless the extended tab on the container is correctly located within the base slot. Do not attempt to start the unit without the lid being correctly positioned and locked.
