To switch between different pickup patterns on the Fifine K690 USB Studio Mic, follow these steps:
1. Locate the polar pattern selector on the microphone. It is labeled and should be easily visible.
2. Rotate the selector to choose the desired pickup pattern. The Fifine K690 offers four pickup patterns: cardioid, bidirectional, omnidirectional, and stereo.
3. Each pickup pattern has its own specific use:
- Cardioid mode is most suitable for live broadcasting from a single sound source, such as radio broadcasts or multiplayer computer games.
- Bidirectional mode is most suitable for recording from two sound sources located on either side of the microphone, such as interviews.
- Omnidirectional mode is most suitable for recording from multiple sound sources, such as conferences.
- Stereo mode is most suitable for recording live music or from two sound sources located in front of the microphone.
By rotating the polar pattern selector, you can easily switch between these different pickup patterns to suit your recording needs.
