To connect the Blue Yeti Nano to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the Yeti Nano and rotate the microphone 180 degrees so that the Blue logo and headphone volume control are facing you.
2. Adjust the microphone to your desired angle and tighten the set-screws on the left and right of the base.
3. Connect the Yeti Nano to your computer using the supplied USB cable. The headphone volume button will light up, indicating that power has reached the microphone.
For Windows computers:
1. From the Start menu, select the Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel, select the Sound icon.
3. Click the Recording tab and select Yeti Nano.
4. Click the Playback tab and select Yeti Nano.
For Mac computers:
1. Connect the Yeti Nano to your Mac using the provided USB cable.
2. Open System Preferences and select the Sound icon.
3. Click the Input tab and select Yeti Nano.
4. Click the Output tab and select Yeti Nano.
5. Set the Output volume to 100% from this screen.
Once connected, the Blue Yeti Nano should be recognized as an audio input device by your computer. You can then select it as the recording input within your preferred software, such as Audacity, GarageBand, or Skype. No additional drivers or software installation is required.
