To correctly use the Elikliv EDM4 LCD Digital Microscope, please follow these steps:
1. Read the instruction manual carefully: It is important to read the user manual provided with the microscope to understand its features and operation.
2. Install and charge the batteries: Use 18650 size rechargeable batteries for the microscope. For the first time installation and battery replacement, use the charger to charge and activate the batteries.
3. Remove the lens cover: The microscope comes with a lens cover to protect it from dust. Remember to remove the lens cover before using the microscope.
4. Familiarize yourself with the parts and functions: The user manual provides a detailed description of the various parts and their functions. Take some time to understand the purpose of each button and component.
5. Power on the microscope: Long press the power button to turn on the device.
6. Select the desired mode: Long press the Menu button to switch between video, photo, and file modes. The mode interface will be displayed on the LCD screen.
7. Start recording or taking photos: In video mode, short press the OK button to start and end video recording. In photo mode, press the OK button to take photos and save files automatically.
8. Adjust focus: Use the Focus Wheel to adjust the focus while taking pictures or videos. Rotate the wheel to achieve the desired focus. The shorter the object distance, the larger the magnification.
9. Adjust LED light brightness: Use the LED Light Wheel to adjust the brightness of the eight LED lights on the microscope. This helps optimize lighting conditions for clear observations.
10. Explore the menu settings: Short press the Menu button to enter and exit the menu interface. Use the OK button to confirm selections and the Left/Right button to move through the menu options. The common menu settings include format, language, line-assist, auto-off, sys. reset, light freq, date input, USB, and version.
11. Utilize special menu settings: Depending on the mode (video, photo, or file), there are specific menu settings available. These include size, time stamp, exposure compensation, quality, delete, and lock/unlock.
12. Connect to a computer (optional): If you want to use the microscope as a PC camera or for hard disk storage, refer to the USB function section in the manual for instructions on setting the USB mode and connecting it to a computer.
