To connect the Movo LV1 USB Lavalier Microphone to your smartphone, follow these steps:
1. Check if your smartphone has a headphone jack. If it does, proceed to step 2. If not, you will need a separate adapter (not included) that converts from a 3.5mm jack to your phone's specific input, usually a USB-C or Lightning connector.
2. Plug the 3.5mm jack of the Movo LV1 into the headphone jack of your smartphone.
3. Locate the switch on the microphone cable and set it to "Off/Smartphone Mode" to ensure compatibility with your smartphone.
4. Open your preferred recording app or video recording function on your smartphone.
5. Start recording and test the microphone by speaking into it. You should hear clear audio through your smartphone's speakers or headphones if connected.
Note: If you experience any issues with the microphone not being recognized or the audio not being clear, make sure that the microphone is not muted in your smartphone's audio settings and that the volume is set appropriately.
For smartphones without a headphone jack, it's important to use the appropriate adapter to ensure compatibility and proper functionality.
