To clean the Hamilton Beach 29987 Artisan Bread Maker, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the power and allow the bread maker to cool down completely before cleaning.
2. Remove the bread pan by carefully lifting up on the handle and turning it counterclockwise.
3. Clean the bread pan by wiping the inside and outside with a damp cloth. Do not use any abrasive agents that could damage the nonstick coating.
4. The bread pan, kneading paddle, measuring cup, measuring spoon, and paddle hook are dishwasher-safe, so you can clean them in the dishwasher if desired.
5. Wipe the base and top lid of the bread maker with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
6. Before storing the bread maker, ensure that it has completely cooled down, is clean and dry, and the top lid is closed.
Note: The outside of the bread pan and base may discolor over time, which is normal and does not affect the performance of the bread maker.
